Physio Baby Ltd cares about your privacy. For this reason, we strive to collect and use all personal data about you and your child safely and securely. We only collect information that is necessary for the purpose of ensuring that your child receives the best patient experience and most effective treatment possible.
What data do we collect and store?
a) Your and your child’s names
b) Your home address
c) Your telephone number
d) Your email address
e) Physio Baby also keeps copies of any medical and relevant reports you may have shared with us; or information and reports that have been shared with us by other health care professionals.
f) Finally, we keep up-to-date and accurate records of every treatment session carried out; exercise programs or any advice we have given you; as well as any photographs or videos you have consented to us taking in the course of your child’s treatment.
How we utilise this information:
Physio Baby Ltd strongly believes in minimising the data we collect and limiting its use and purpose to only that for which we have been given permission; is necessary to deliver clinical excellence; or as we might be required for legal compliance and other lawful purposes.
Uses of your information include:
Improving and updating the physiotherapy service your child receives by:
g) Regularly perusing and reflecting on treatment session records to help plan future treatment sessions.
h) Sharing your child’s records between treating physiotherapists and with other health professionals should we make onward referrals. This will ensure your child receives all the help and medical intervention they require.
i) Creating anonymised photographic home programs for your own and other children.
Communicating with you:
We will only contact you regarding the following:
j) Upcoming appointments
k) Feedback on treatment sessions
l) Feedback from discussions had with other health professionals
m) Invoicing and payment reminders.
We may contact you via:
n) Emails
o) Text messages
p) Telephone calls.
Accessing, updating or deleting your data:
Physio Baby Ltd will provide you with records of your or your child’s personal information within one month should you make a written request.
Should you request that your or your child’s personal information be updated or rectified, the request will be honoured within one month. Should original clinical diagnoses change with further medical input, this will be recorded as an update and not as a rectification.
Physio Baby Ltd retains the right to decline to erase any personal information should you make a request to do so. Physio Baby Ltd stores your data lawfully for an indefinite period as there is a legitimate business interest based on data retention that is:
q) Mandated by law;
r) For the purpose of preserving, resolving, defending or enforcing our legal/contractual rights;
s) Needed to maintain adequate and accurate business and financial records.
How we secure, store and retain your data:
Physio Baby Ltd follows generally accepted standards as advised by the Data Protection Authority (Information Commissioner’s Office - ICO).
Practices and data protection policies have been created following the advice of the ICO to store and protect the personal data we collect. These standards are followed once we have collected and received all data as well as during transmission of data, including utilisation of encryption.Physio Baby Ltd would like to reassure you that stringent procedures are put in place and documented in order to hold your data securely, keep it correct, up-to-date and safe from breach or destruction.

We are also required to cooperate with the government and law enforcement officials to ensure all data is accessible to them when appropriate.
